I am a qualified Person-Centred practitioner, which means that your unique experiences and perceptions are always at the centre of our work together.
My approach
I believe we all possess the capacity to make new meaning of our lives and experiences to ease any distress we may experience. As your therapist I will provide a safe environment where you can reflect confidentially with my non-judgemental support.
The cornerstone of my work with you will be to try to understand your experiences as you perceive them, to respect and accept you as you are and to work with you at your speed with whatever you wish to bring.
I am committed to ethical practice and, as a registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), abide by their ethical guidelines.
I also have regular supervision with a highly experienced psychotherapist who holds similar registrations and adheres to the same ethical framework for practice.
The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction not a destination.
